The relaxed and convivial atmosphere of the bar is an ideal location to swop African stories and enjoy that icy cocktail or award winning Cape wine. The secluded location of the pool offers privacy and a spectacular view of the river that can be enjoyed from the comfort of a chaise lounge in the shade of a giant ebony tree.

Game Viewing / Activities:

Being on the doorstep of the world famous Chobe National Park, Kubu Lodge offers a variety of activities that focus on this amazing wilderness. One can experience the massive herds of elephants and buffalo, watch Africa’s top predators and enjoy unparalleled birding.

Professional guides take our guests on an exploration of both the interior and waterfront of the Chobe National Park in specially adapted 4x4 vehicles and motorboats. The variety and density of wildlife is exceptional but it is the park’s elephant herds that are the main attraction.

Sundowner Cruise

From the lodge we offer a quiet sunset cruise to the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers aboard our ‘Finfoot’ boat. This is the only place on earth where four countries meet at one point.
