Hello and welcome to your Zimbabwe safari! You will begin in Matobo NP as this unique area offers fantastic hikes with the knowledgeable guides, drives in the national park and even rhino tracking. After a busy day on foot you can treat yourself to a spa treatment and a dip in the beautiful rock pool at the lodge.
Next up is Hwange National Park, with diverse landscape you can enjoy walks with the experienced guides in the savannah plains.
Finally you will end with two nights in Victoria Falls at, Ilala Lodge. Centrally located it is the closest hotel to the falls themselves, in easy walking distance.
Day 1 - Amalinda Lodge, Matobo National Park
You will be met at Bulawayo Airport by Amalinda and have a transfer of 1 hour to Matobo NP and the beautiful Amalinda Lodge.
Matobo National Park is in southwest Zimbabwe. It’s known for the Matobo Hills, a range of balancing rock formations created by erosion of the granite plateau. The walls of Nswatugi Cave feature Stone Age rock art. The park has significant populations of black eagles and both black and white rhinos. The grave of Cecil Rhodes, founder of former British colony Rhodesia, is carved into the summit of Malindidzimu.
Here you can go on hikes through the scenic hills, track rhino on foot in the national park, have guided walks to see rock paintings and Cecil Rhodes grave as well as game drives in the park.

Day 4 - Amalinda Lodge, Matobo National Park / Nehimba Safari Lodge, Hwange National Park
Today you will depart for your next destination in Hwange National Park, a lovely drive beautiful countryside. Accommodation at Nehimba Safari Lodge.
A luxury safari Lodge remotely nestled away in one of the largest private concessions in the renowned Hwange National Park lies Nehimba. Ideally situated in the central game rich section of the park, offering an all inclusive, privately guided authentic African Safaris.
Centrally situated is the spacious and tastefully decorated lounge / dining area comprising a lower deck for intimate and romantic meals under the stars, overlooking a swimming pool frequented by elephants trying to quench their thirst. Evenings can be spend around a warm fire where tales of the days events are unravelled while the chef prepares a tasteful array of dishes.
The lodge boasts nine luxurious raised chalets under traditional thatch unobtrusively positioned around a waterhole. Each chalet has its own en suite slipper bath and adjoining outside shower. Day 8 - Hwange / Victoria Falls
Depart from Hwange to Victoria Falls. Accommdation at Ilala Lodge.

We recommend a sunset river cruise, helicopter flight over the falls and of course seeing the falls themselves. You do not need a guide to do so as the paths are clear and well signposted but we are happy to arrange one for you, lunch at The Lookout Cafe is a great way to finish as it has spectacular views over the gorge.
Day 10 - Depart
Sadly your last day has arrived and you will have a transfer to the Victoria Falls Airport to connect with your onward flight back home
