Created to blend perfectly into the lush surrounds of the Zambezi River bank, The David Livingstone Safari Lodge and Spa offers 4 star comfort only 5 kms from the Victoria Falls, one of the most impressive natural wonders of the world.

The hotel boasts the impressive claim of having all river facing accommodation, so each guest can enjoy the view that once captivated David Livingstone, the intrepid explorer and missionary who was the first European to witness the Falls.

Centrally located the David Livingstone Hotel is within easy each of all the major activities that the Victoria Falls area has become synonymous. These range from the ever popular white river rafting to elephant safaris and flights of angels in helicopters or microlights of the Victoria Falls. The hotel has its own beautiful boat, the Lady Livingstone which is moored alongside the hotel. Each day the Lady Livingstone departs for the quintessential Livingstone activity

 You can be as active or as relaxed as you choose. In our sumptuous surroundings, it's simple to take things easy, but we can also fill the days of the most active of guests, too.

Activity options included in our All-inclusive rates are guided bush & bird walks, short hikes, a cultural village tour, a visit to Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya), a sunset game viewing cruise and a Livingstone town tour (including the local market visit and museum entry). You are free to do whichever activity appeals the most.

We can also arrange white-water rafting, scenic flights over the Falls (by helicopter, small plane or micro-lite), elephant-back, horse-back, walking or riverboat safaris, abseiling, bungee-jumping and extreme combos! Game drives are also available, either in nearby Mosi-oa-Tunya NP or further afield - including Botswana's Chobe NP. Or of course, you can simply relax, with your feet up beside our pool, on the viewing deck or in your own private sun garden. You decide.
